Ramesh and Prakash are two Indians who have spent their entire lives in a small village settlement in the heart of India.
They were best friends and often went on trips through the jungle, exploring nature and enjoying life away from the city noise. One day, they decided to visit a sanctuary to see the wild animals they had heard so much about.
A few hours passed on the road, and while enjoying nature, they soon found themselves in dense thickets. Suddenly, from behind the bushes, a giant elephant walked towards them, walking through the forest.
At first, they were stunned by the majesty of the animal, but soon they noticed that the elephant was looking at them warily, as if something was bothering him.
Before they had time to move away, the elephant began to slowly move towards them, and then Ramesh accidentally stepped on a stick, which cracked, attracting the attention of the animal. The elephant suddenly quickened its pace, and in a second it was hurtling towards them at a tremendous speed.
Prakash shouted, “Run!” and both Indians ran, feeling the ground shake from the elephant’s heavy footsteps. Their hearts pounded in their chests, and their breath caught as they raced through the forest. But the elephant was too fast, and their chances of escape were rapidly fading.
Ramesh tried to dodge, but tripped, falling to the ground. Prakash, without thinking, turned and pulled him by the arm, continuing to run. The elephant was too close, and they knew that if they did not hurry, its huge feet would crush them.
When they almost reached the safety of the path, Ramesh fell again, but this time he could not get up. Prakash ran to him and saw that his friend had badly injured his leg and was unable to move. Desperately trying to remain calm, Prakash began to call for help.
Locals, hearing the screams, quickly came to the rescue. An ambulance soon arrived and Ramesh was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but fortunately they were not fatal.
Prakash stayed by his side, supporting his friend and thanking fate that they were able to get out alive. This adventure became an important lesson for them: nature can be not only beautiful, but also dangerous, and one must always remain attentive and careful.
